Barby Singer FACP is an APA Titled Neurological Physiotherapist with over 40 years’ clinical experience in acute and rehabilitation inpatient settings in Perth, WA. She also has extensive experience in research and education and is a Specialist Research Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2011).
Barby has held a number of roles within the College including as Chief Censor, Chief Examiner, as a member of College Council (2017-2019) and as Vice-President (2020-2023). She has sat on numerous working parties including the Specialisation Training Program (STP) Accreditation Advisory Group and the Field of Practice Work Group. She was made an Honoured Member of the APA in 2023.
She has recently re-joined College Council to fill a casual vacancy. She is passionate about the successful introduction of new pathways to Specialisation/Fellowship, and is committed to the ongoing improvement of assessment and training within the Physiotherapy Career Pathway.
