Make your best move yet 2025

The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) is excited to share the next iteration of our consumer campaign with you. We launched the “Make your best move yet” campaign last year with Silvia and Tim, which has been very successful to date. Since launching in August last year it has delivered over 3.2 million impressions and generated around 10,000 searches to Find a physio.

These new consumer stories focus on women’s health and men’s health, and showcase how choosing an APA physio is a great move at any stage of life. The campaign continues to draw on familiar, everyday moments, infused with a touch of irreverent Australian humour to keep it both entertaining and memorable.

Meet Ava and Debbie

Ava is a high school teacher who loves a sunrise yoga session. As she’s about to enter the world of motherhood, she’s been practicing deep breathing off the mat, too – her super helpful mum, Debbie, is with her every step of the way… even if her advice is a bit overwhelming! There’s one thing they can definitely agree upon: pelvic pain and pelvic floor issues like incontinence and prolapse are common in various stages of life.

With the help of an APA physio, both Ava and mum Debbie were given personalised plans to improve their pelvic health and treat pelvic pain – now all Ava has to worry about is Debbie’s pregnancy tips.

Meet Joe

Joe’s a 52 year-old small business owner. Naturally, he knows his customers on a first-name basis, and he loves sneaking in a late-arvo flat white. Back in the day, Joe was well known as a bit of a local sports star. When one of his regulars mentioned an upcoming fun run, he knew it was time for his return to glory. But when he began ‘marathon’ training, he started getting some nasty calf pain.

With a treatment plan from his APA physio, Joe’s calf pain subsided, and he avoided any further show-stopping injuries. Now Joe’s on track for his big comeback – and daily power walks to the café – pain-free.
