Discover APA Mentoring

Embark on a transformative journey with the APA Mentoring Program - an empowering initiative designed to elevate the growth of both mentor and mentee.

As we step into 2024, we are excited to extend the opportunity to members at all stages of their career – from graduate members, individuals navigating career crossroads through to retired members. We also have limited places available for Associate members who are undertaking an assessment with the Australian Physiotherapy Council to participate as mentees.

Gain insights from two of our pilot program participants, mentee Jennifer Lohmus and mentor Dr Jennifer Jones as they share their firsthand experiences.

APA Mentoring is an exclusive APA member benefit, offered at no additional cost to participants. The program connects mentees with experienced APA members and allows mentees to choose and define the specific focus areas that align with their goals, ensuring a tailored and impactful learning experience. Participants are further supported with a wide range of training resources, videos and group webinars devoted to the mentoring process.

All mentors must be registered with Ahpra and have five years or more post-registration experience.
