Neuro Imaging

Dr Zhou is a final year radiology trainee in RNSH who has been heavily involved in research and teaching during his training.

If you often have questions about a scan but can't find the radiology dark room to ask the questions, then Kim will bring a night of neuro imaging to answer your questions.

Physios are often required to evaluate neurologic symptoms when assessing patients. Imaging plays a critical role in neurologic diagnoses, and it can provide some expectations of the impairment. Imaging has evolved fast during the last few decades, and many modalities are available for diagnosis and intervention. It is important to determine the appropriate imaging tests and interpreting findings in the clinical context.

Kim will discuss key concepts on imaging techniques and a show case of typical pathologies of the brain and spine.

Join us to hear Dr Zhou speak about his research and teachings during his training.

Presenter: Dr Wenxiao (Kim) Zhou, Final Year Radiologist, Royal North Shore Hospital
