Izzy Patabendige has extensive experience in working with people with Acquired Brain Injury. Currently working in private practice, Izzy has successfully navigated through the NDIS process.



This lecture will address the following: How do we address the needs of the people with Acquired Brain Injuries acknowledging that life involves more than walking, talking and performing activities of daily living?



How can our involvement help individuals (with ABI) return to work and pursue recreational interests?



What services are available to assist with the transition from inpatient rehabilitation to the community?



How do we navigate NDIS to address vocational, recreational, and physical needs?
