Dr Alison Thorpe will present on non surgical management of shoulder instability and rehabilitation after stabilisation surgery.

Mr Travis Falconer MBBS(Hons) UWA, FRACS(Ortho), FAOrthA – Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon
Travis is a fellowship trained shoulder and elbow surgeon based in Perth, Western Australia at the Perth Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He specializes in arthroscopic sports and reconstructive surgery for the shoulder and elbow as well as arthroplasty and revision arthroplasty surgery.
Dr Alison Thorpe - Alison is a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists 2009) consulting in clinical practice at Perth Shoulder Rehabilitation, Hollywood Specialist Centre, Nedlands. She provides second opinion shoulder reviews and develops management plans for complex shoulder patients sent for review by orthopaedic surgeons, insurers, medical practitioners and physiotherapists. Alison is also the course coordinator -Sports Physiotherapy Masters course at Curtin University and postgraduate lecturer and unit coordinator in the Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy Masters course. She completed her PhD in 2018 investigating shoulder surgery trends, surgical criteria and factors associated with outcome after shoulder surgery and presented research findings at WCPT 2019 in Geneva.
