Kinesiology taping

This is a student event only

An introduction to kinesiology taping principles, common applications and a demonstration of various applications used by practitioners to assist with treatment of muscle injuries, biomechanical dysfunction, postural dysfunction and oedema/inflammation taping. James Trotter will conduct a practical session to allow undergraduates to obtain enough skills to be able to confidently trial kinesiology applications.

James Trotter


James is a Sports and Musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 20 years experience. James has been appointed as an Australian Olympic Team physiotherapist for the Beijing, London and Rio Olympics. He has also worked with elite level track and field athletes, water polo athletes and canoe/kayak athletes.

James is co-director of Leading Edge Physical Therapy, one of Adelaide's premier sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinics
