A Tight Situation - Radiation and its Effects for Management of Women with Gynecological Cancers
A multidisciplinary team, consisting of Radiation Oncologist, Cancer Nurse Consultant, and Physiotherapist, will discuss issues related to treatment of gynaecological cancers and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Dr Tiffany Daly, Radiation Oncologist ROPART
Tiffany Daly is a Senior Radiation Oncologist at the Radiation Oncology PA Hospital Raymond Tce campus (ROPART) and lecturer in radiation oncology at QUT. She has special interests in radiation therapy for gynaecological, colorectal and breast cancers. Tiffany will discuss the tumor streams, treatment regimes, role and effects of radiation treatment.
Ruth Pethybridege, Radiation CNC ROPART
Ruth Pethybridge is a Clinical Nurse Consultant at ROPART and works with women undergoing radiation therapy for gynaecological cancers, providing individual nursing management, support and education during the acute phase of treatment. Ruth will discuss acute and longer-term side-effects of radiation treatment, including use of vaginal dilators.
Cath Willis, Physiotherapist Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health
Cath Willis is a women's, men's and pelvic health physio with nearly 20 years' experience in this clinical area. Cath has worked in both the public and private sectors and helps teach the Gender Health subject to 3rd year physiotherapy students at ACU in Brisbane.
Cath will discuss the impact that vulvovaginal atrophy can have on bladder, bowel and sexual function, and provide information about the physiotherapy management of this condition particularly for women who have undergone pelvic radiation therapy.'
