Brendan Diplock
Brendan Diplock is the Team Leader and Consultant Physiotherapist for the Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Management Clinic (PMMC), Logan Hospital. Graduating from UQ in 1998, and completing his Masters in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy at Griffith (2008), Brendan is currently undertaking his PhD with Bond University, exploring “the role of the long head of biceps at the shoulder and implications of surgery”. When he is not case-managing primary contact orthopaedic, spinal and maxillofacial referrals, Brendan is a Pottsville local (boo NSW) who enjoys surfing, weightlifting, martial arts and spending time with his wonderful family.
Madonna Lichtwark
Madonna Lichtwark works in the Emergency Department at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) as a primary contact Emergency Physiotherapy Practitioner. She also works as a Clinical Leader in the Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Specialist Physiotherapy Screening Clinics, and as a treating Physiotherapist in the Outpatients Department at the RBWH. Madonna graduated from UQ in 2002, travelled and worked abroad, started a family, and finally built up the courage to enrol in further study, completing a Master of Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal, at UQ (2022). She keeps very busy with her young family, enjoys playing and coaching touch football, family camping holidays, gardening and long lunches with friends.
Andrew McLennan
Andrew McLennan has been working in the field of vestibular physiotherapy for nearly 10 years both in Australia and the UK after graduating from The University of Queensland in 2008. He has been employed as the Advanced Vestibular Physiotherapist at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital since mid-2020. In this role, Andrew works as a first contact practitioner, assessing and treating patients referred directly from the Ear, Nose, and Throat waitlist onto the vestibular pathway. He also supervises a small rotational team of physiotherapists undergoing vestibular training at the RBWH, retaining a passion for introducing and progressing interested therapists in the field. He continues to assist with vestibular physiotherapy tutorials and practicals at an undergraduate level at UQ. Andrew is currently completing a Master of History in his spare time while also planning his upcoming wedding in May.
