Swinburne University of Technology has invested $11 million in technology for the new generation graduate health profession degrees including physiotherapy—the first cohort, who started in August this year, are using the technology for their six-week human anatomy and biomechanics unit.
In addition to learning the evidence-based core competencies in physiotherapy, the postgraduate course exposes first-year students to a new way of learning with emerging technologies. Associate Professor Doa El-Ansary, APAM, says ‘using a variety of technology media gives the student an experience that is individual to their learning.'
