Disability Physiotherapy Level 1 aims to provide physiotherapists with the knowledge, understanding and skills to provide high quality physiotherapy services to people with a range of disabilities. In doing so, the course introduces models of practice consistent with best practice in the disability field, and highlights both commonalities and differences with other areas of physiotherapy practice. It also covers issues relating to the funding landscape within the disability sector, with a focus on the NDIS, and applies this knowledge to practice.
Disability Physiotherapy Level 1 is delivered through a blended learning model comprising three parts:
Part A: is the first component of the Disability Physiotherapy Level 1 course and consists of seven OnDemand, self-paced modules
Part B: live virtual classroom is very interactive and will include lively discussions between learners and expert presenters, with the opportunity to ask questions along the way
Part C: is practical face-to-face classroom learning
This live virtual session is Part B of the Disability Physiotherapy Level 1 course. You must attend a live virtual session in order to complete the Disability Physiotherapy Level 1 course.
