Got an idea that will light up physiotherapy?
Now is your time to showcase your innovative ideas to the expert panel at the Australian Physiotherapy Association Scientific Conference (APASC25).
What is the PRF's Physio Pitchfest?
It's an opportunity to share your innovative solution or idea that addresses an unmet clinical need, advances practice or improves patient wellbeing.
You have the opportunity to pitch your idea in person, at this year’s APA Scientific Conference (APASC25) in Adelaide.
The recipient of the Physio Pitchfest Judges’ Award will take home $15,000 to put towards further development and marketing of their product or service, and the People’s Choice Award winner will receive $4,000.
Applications open 31 March 2025 and close 31 May 2025. It’s time to brainstorm!

Application eligibility
- the Primary Applicant must be an APA member AND registered with Ahpra
- only one submission is permitted per applicant
- previous Physio Pitchfest finalists and winners, the judging panel, employees of the APA and anyone otherwise connected with organising or judging the competition are ineligible.
Application process
- produce a three-minute video pitching your idea/concept
- fill in the application form
- submit your application form and video by Saturday 31 May 2025 (11:59pm AEST)
- the Judging Panel will review applications and develop a shortlist of finalists who will be invited to pitch their idea in person at APASC25.
