Our inaugural APA mentoring programs are coming to a close for 2022 and we would like to thank everyone who participated. We recognise that these programs would not be successful without the genuine passion and dedication of our members.

We are delighted to announce and celebrate the nominees and winners of the 2022 Australian Physiotherapy Association and Art of Mentoring Mentor and Mentee of the year awards.

The prestigious award recognises the outstanding contribution of our mentors and mentees in the APA mentoring programs in 2022. With so many outstanding nominees it was extremely challenging to select the winners.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the following winners:

  • Douglas Coleman - winner of the 2022 APA Mentor of the Year Award
  • Jennifer Lohmus - winner of the 2022 APA Mentee of the Year Award

We are also pleased to announce the members who received the highly commended award:

  • Adrian Ong - Highly Commended 2022 APA Mentee of the Year Award
  • Sarah Walmsley - Highly Commended 2022 APA Mentor of the Year Award
  • David Worth - Highly Commended 2022 APA Mentor of the Year Award

We are very proud of all of our participants who have helped to shape even better mentoring programs for 2023. We would like to take a moment to acknowledge all of the nominees for 2022.
