Managing the neurological upper limb: an update

Leanne Cormack is a member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists and is the Physiotherapy Co-ordinator for Neurosciences at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, working clinically in acute neurology. She also works as a clinical tutor for Curtin and Notre Dame Universities, and is a research physiotherapist for the UPLIFT trial.

Leanne has developed, convened and presented many courses for the APA including Normal Movement Courses, The Neurological Upper Limb, Level 1 and 2 Neurology.

She is passionate about optimising outcomes of the upper limb following neurological injury and developing the next generation of outstanding Neurological Physiotherapists.

The lecture will cover:

- The neural mechanisms of recovery.

- Current evidence, and assessment and treatment approaches.

This is a face to face lecture held in APA office in Bentley.
