An Introduction To Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) For Parkinson's Disease

Please join Wayne Rosen as he presents on an introduction to deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson's Disease.

After graduating from Curtin University's School of Physiotherapy in 1999, Wayne helped establish a private practice with MoveWell Physiotherapy in Perth's northern suburbs, before looking for other career opportunities due to injury. His 20 years of experience in medical devices commenced with Stryker in their Spine and Biologics division before he found his real passion in Neuromodulation with Medtronic in 2008. Wayne has spent the last 16 years working with patients with chronic pain and movement disorders to build a better quality of life using technology that was originally developed from pacemakers. He feels privileged to be able to work in a team that encompasses highly trained clinicians and allied health professionals, focused on maximising the potential of DBS therapy for each individual.

This is a face to face lecture held in APA office in Bentley.
