Intro to golf injuries and performance for physios

This lecture will cover the key biomechanical requirements of the golf swing, how musculoskeletal factors relate to biomechanics, key musculoskeletal injuries experienced by golfers and case study discussion.

Sean has worked clinically with golfers for over 15 years, and has consulted as a physiotherapist to the University of Washington Men's College Golf Team, the Ladies Masters Tournament (QLD, Australia), the PGA International Golf Institute (PGA IGI) and notable US PGA Tour players including Cheng-Tsung Pan, Adam Scott, Sang-Moon Bae, Karrie Webb, and So-Yeon Ryu. Sean has a PhD in golf biomechanics, and in addition to his clinical work continues to conduct golf specific research at Griffith University.
