MINDFIT - BODYMAP: one evening, two sessions with Bek Smith and Georgie Davidson
Session 1: How mentally fit are you?
Explore the difference between mental illness, mental health and wellbeing and ways you can improve your mental fitness.
Session 2: BODYMAP: mindfulness and the body
Explore how an understanding of the mind-body connection is of value in clinical interventions.
We will cover:
- body awareness for physiotherapists and their clients
- clinical reasoning patterns for nervous system hypersensitivity
- practical strategies for self-regulation
You will be invited to participate in practices, so please bring a yoga mat or towel.
