Palliative Rehabilitation: Contradiction or Best Practice?

Providing rehabilitation to someone who is ‘dying' may seem counter intuitive.

However, no matter what area of physiotherapy you work in, from musculoskeletal private practice through to gerontology, at some point you will find yourself providing rehabilitation to people with advanced, life-limiting illness.

So what exactly is palliative rehabilitation?

And how can physiotherapists navigate the balance between optimising function and supporting people as they approach the end of life?

Join us for an engaging and challenging webinar that explores the interface between rehabilitation and palliative care, bringing together perspectives on best practice across Europe from Rebecca Tiberini, Physiotherapist and Chair of Rehabilitation in Palliative Care Taskforce for European Association of Palliative Care and current practice in Australia from APA Titled Palliative Care Physiotherapist, Katherine Pryde.
