The running athlete: assessment, retraining and rehab

Physiotherapists are routinely involved in the treatment of athletes involved in running and running- related sports. These patients typically present to sports medicine practices and private practices throughout the country. In addition, rehabilitation facilities as well as outpatient clinics will be exposed to these running athletes.

A comprehensive understanding of running will be of great benefit to all physiotherapists and other health practitioners involved in the treatment of running athletes.

This course will be of benefit to the newly graduated physiotherapist through to the experienced practitioner that is routinely involved in the management of running athletes.

Prerequisites

  • This course is only available to qualified and AHPRA registered physiotherapists.
