Hypermobility – an overlooked cause of chronic pain – How you can identify the hypermobile zebra in your practice!

Have you seen clients with complex, multiple pain sites, repeated or slow-healing injuries, but it just doesn't seem possible that they could have that many injuries that last so long? (They might have seen multiple practitioners, been through a pain management program, have anxiety or depression.) You have tried a graduated exercise program and pain education and it just didn't work. Could hypermobility offer a better explanation than fibromyalgia, CRPS or chronic pain? (Come with us on the journey of these clients.) Understand the mechanisms triggering their pain responses, determine where to start and learn how to address these issues.
