Types of Pat Cosh Trust Grants
Strategic Grant:
Strategic Grant is designed to address a topic of strategic importance to the physiotherapy profession in Victoria. The Trust will identify areas of research and nominate the research topic each year.
For the 2023 round Strategic Grant, funding of up to $150,000 will be available for lead researchers in Victoria. The research aim is to improve physiotherapy students’ access and experience in clinical placements in private practice settings with a focus on musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Annual Grants:
Annual Grants support physiotherapy research projects that improve the ability of physiotherapy practitioners and students in Victoria to practice and their standard of education.
The research topics are not limited, but they must be aligned with the purpose of the Trust.
For the 2023 round of Annual Grants, six Annual Grants will be offered with a maximum amount of $30,000 for each.

The Pat Cosh Trust funds research grants annually. Physiotherapists and researchers interested in Pat Cosh Trust Grants are encouraged to complete an application form.
