NDIS pricing cuts are unsustainable—add your voice to our national campaign
As a physiotherapist, you know firsthand the value of your care. You also know that the recent reduction in NDIS pricing is unworkable. We risk losing experienced clinicians from the scheme, slashing access for participants, and placing even more pressure on a stretched health system.
We must act now to ensure the viability of our profession and protect the people we serve.
Here's how you can take action
We’ve made it easy for APA members to advocate for change.
- Sign the petition: The APA has come together with other peak industry bodies to call on the federal government to reverse these changes and protect fair, person-centred care. Add your voice!
- Contact your MP:
Email your MP using the easy email tool below.
Call your representatives directly: suggested talking points are there to get you started. Enter your address to identify your electorate and start the conversation.
APA Members: If you secure a meeting with your MP, we’ve prepared additional detailed talking points and support materials to help guide your discussion. Log in to access MP meeting resources. If you’re not an APA member, please email us.
- Share your story: If you or your patients have faced challenges, or seen the value, in accessing physiotherapy through the NDIS, we want to hear from you.
- Follow us and share on social media: Connect with us on: Facebook | Instagram | X | LinkedIn | Youtube
- Engage with local media: Submit a letter to the editor of your local newspaper or call into your local radio station.
- Inform your NDIS participants: Use these toolkit resources to encourage your participants and personal networks to join the campaign—including a letter/email template, social media content and a poster/flyer you can display with patients. Browse these assets using our Canva link and you can download them by setting up a free Canva account. Email us for assistance.
We've built a quick and effective tool to help you reach your local MP.
In just a few minutes, you can send a letter that highlights the impact of these changes from the frontline. The more voices we raise, the harder we are to ignore.
How it works:
- Add your details so we can identify your federal MP
- Personalise the template letter—you can include practice insights or patient experiences (de-identified)
- Click and send and we'll deliver the letter stright to your MP's inbox.
Tip: Letters with a personal message have more impact—speak from experience.
