Fighting for fairness in NDIS pricing
From 1 July, the NDIA’s cuts to NDIS physiotherapy price limits and travel funding have taken effect. These changes are already having a significant impact—reducing participant access, threatening service sustainability, and undermining the essential role of physiotherapy in disability support.
In response, the APA is leading a targeted, sustained and evidence-based campaign to call out the consequences and push for fair and transparent pricing reform.
Every conversation counts—let’s prepare together
If you have secured—or are planning—a meeting with your local MP, the APA will assist you with tailored support to prepare for your advocacy. Before your meeting, please contact the APA Policy team so we can coordinate efforts.
We will tailor up-to-date background and talking points ahead of your meeting including:
- a summary of the pricing changes and their impact on participants and providers
- key facts and financial modelling to support your case
- advice on how to frame the discussion in your local context
Please review the notes carefully, personalise them where needed, and bring a copy to your meeting. After your discussion, we encourage you to share feedback with us—every conversation helps amplify our collective voice.
The Policy and Government Relations team will further support your advocacy by providing an issues briefing to the officials in your meeting, after the event, including information about how to contact the APA with any further policy questions.
