The Maitlaind approach

This is a student member event only

It has been nearly 60 years since the first edition of Maitland's vertebral manipulation text was published in Australia. The Maitland concept is more than just passive mobilisation, it provides no guarantees to cure all problems.

However, the approach to the examination, assessment and management of our patients presented in the Maitland concept provides a valuable framework to work within. This workshop revisits the Maitland concept, particularly in light modern notions of evidence based practice.
