The Physiotherapy Board of Australia has released updated physiotherapy practice thresholds for Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

I can assure you that here at the APA, we won’t slow down in 2024, especially in our advocacy and in the political arena. 

We will continue to follow our strategic blueprint, working towards our vision of a future in which all Australians have access to quality physiotherapy.

In the 2022–23 financial year, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) received 841 notifications of boundary violations against practitioners in all professions.

This is close to double the number of notifications Ahpra received three years ago.

Unpaid work, though occasionally contentious, can offer advantages to both employers and the individuals involved.

These materials articulate in objective, factual terms the difference in training, skills and scope that a physiotherapist brings to the table.
