Like any industry brewing has its hazards, but the Independent Brewers Association is working to make it as safe as possible. The Association has partnered with Victual Risk Management to launch the IBASafe Manual in April 2018. Prior to launching, Victual worked with Akasha Brewing Co to pilot the program and ensure it covered everything the brewing industry needed.

 New data released by medibank shows that since 2012 girls aged 10-19 have had a 31 per cent increase in ACL repairs. Looking at girls between 10-14, there's been a 52 per cent increase. It is thought this rise is partly due to more girls playing contact sports.

One in three Australians aged 65 and over is affected daily by chronic pain, according to a survey conducted by Chronic Pain Australia (CPA). Chronic pain is Australia’s third most costly health burden, the leading cause of early retirement, and costs the economy more than $34 billion per year, the survey says.

Health care professionals in the NT are urging Territorians to include physiotherapy in their pain management programs as part of National Pain Week, which runs from July 23-29.
